My Exlporation with chambal (Himachal pradesh) Chukh

From Kasuli last year in August i got Chambal chukh one bottle (250 gms), it’s a red chilly pickle sort of preparation which is quite similar to the sauce we get with regular momos, now a days for normal curries such as simple potato curry, I have replaced tomato tangy flavor with spicy Chambal chukh one tea spoon.

For this simple curry preparation
- Cut the potatoes the way we cut for French fries (2-3 medium size potatoes)
- Take a non stick kadhai and add two tea spoon of vegetable oil or mustard oil
- Put cumin and mustard seed mix and allow them to flutter
- Add the cut potatoes and then add one tea spoon of haldi and one tea spoon of Chambal chukh, let it heat in sim for 5-6 mins
- Then add 30 ml of water and put salt according to taste and then heat for 6 mins and serve with steamed rice.

Chambal Chukh ingredients: Red chllies, brine, lemon juice, edible oil, mustard, cumin, omum, citric acid and permitted class II preservatives
