Green chillies .........
Green chillies has always been part of Indian cuisine, in Northern and western India they cut green chillies in vertical way and the fry it in oil and sprinkle salt accordingly which is later served with any kind of pakoda or vadaa pav.....In North India they also make Besan walein Mirchi......
For Besan walein Mirchi which I tried out today you have to first roast little of besan (One and half tea spoon) in a kadhai at sim and then keep it aside and then in the same kadhai add 2 tea spoon of refined oil, Green chillies (5-6) have to be cut horizontally and then put in hot oil and then add half tea spoon of turmeric, red chilly powder, roasted besan and salt according to taste.
There is one more green chilli preparation which my nani and mausi used to prepare for that you have to slit open the green chillies and then in a pan take little of oil and the add mustard seeds and mustard seed paste (dilute accordingly with water) and then add salt according to taste :)
