Orissa......Jai Jaganatha......

Last year i decided to spend my this new year in a costal area so planned a trip to Bhubneshwar-Konark-Chilka- Puri.........The trip was fun and Oriya food which is similar to Bengali food was great......I learnt the art of making Dalma which i will try later this week end and the things i recommend people to try in Orissa is Chena Poraa (Baked Sweet Paneer), Puri Temple gajja and Pehalgaon Rossogolla or Monda..........for fresh sea food you can try out in OTDC guest house in Chilka which include prawns, rohu, parse Macch (Fish)..........whole over Orissa you can try Andhra way of south indian tiffins. Puri you should try chinese in Chung wa good one..........2-4 kms from Jagganath temple.......(Shezwan sort of cooking)........
