Quick Chicken Shammi Kebab

I like making Shammi kababs, after long time had a time to cook it for my loved ones

Ingredients
:
  • Chicken Breast piece 150 gm
  • Gram lentil 3 tbs
  • Green cardamom 2
  • Badi elaychi - 1 
  • Cinnamon- 1 medium piece 
  • Clove- 3 pieces
  • Fresh coriander powder 
  • Whole red chili 2
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1tsp
  • Onion paste
  • Lemon 1 piece 
  • Besan  for binding 
  • Ready made shammi masala  
  • Egg 1
  • Oil for frying 

In a pressure cooker Put Cut Chicken breast pieces, gram lentil, cinnamon, badi elaychi, cardamom and cloves 3 pieces. Pour water sufficient enough to soak dal and Chicken pieces. Then allow it to cook for 5-6 whistles in the pressure cooker in medium heat and allow it to cool down 

Meanwhile in a separate tawa add 1 tabs of oil, then add onion paste, ginger and garlic paste. then add coriander powder, red chilly and ready made shammi masala, then add the cooked Chicken and dal and then mix it.

Allow the mixture to cool and then blend it in a mixer into a fine paste and then add lemon juice and add besan  for binding 

 In a separate bowl break an egg and blend it, Then shape round flat kebabs and both the sides cover it with the blended egg and then shallow fry in hot oil.

Note: You can add Coriander and mint leaves to enhance taste
