Sugar free Gujiya for Holi
This year i thought of preparing sugar free gujiya for R (Approx. 7-8 pieces). if you go ahead online to purchase you have to pay a high price.
For the Inside Mix Ingredients:
100 gms of plain Khova
50 gms of Desiccated coconut
10-15 pieces of kishmish
3-4 pieces of Arabian dates
4-5 teaspoon of Xylitol (Sugar Substitute)
For making the mix, in a pan mix Khowa, keep mixing till its slightly brown and then add desiccated coconut, after 1 min add kishmish and dates. Mix it till dark brown and then allow it to cool and then add Xylitol powder
For outer cover
1cup Maida
1/2 cup roasted Sooji (small)
milk as much required to make soft dough
Cow Ghee (2 teaspoon) and rest for 10 mins
Then make round roti and then fill the Khova mix, then enclose in half moon shape the traditional way
Heat oil in pan and then fry the gujiyas till golden brown
