Lady’s finger Fry……

I love Bhindi (Lady Finger) from childhood, My fond memories of Bhindi is mom preparing Bhindi Posto (Posto: also called Khas Khas in Hindi), other style which she used to try was frying small pieces of Bhindi with Kalunji (Kalo Jeera in Bangla and Kalunji in Hindi), the other preperations I have tried is bhindi with onions and Bhindi with jeera (cumin seeds), Asafoetida, Red chilly powder, dry mango powder and salt to taste…If you go with south Indian way (Typical Aiyangar Brahmin way-As they don’t eat any onion and garlic) then u will replace jeera with mustard seeds, asafoetida, Urad dal, Bhindi and red chilly powder……..and for Maharashtra way u will add both Jeera and Mustard seeds and then bhindi…..There are many ways to cook my favourite Bhindi fry :)
