My version of Thandai for Diet Conscious
3 years back had been to north during rainy season and while coming back from Chandigarh i bought some bottles of sugarfree syrups which included khus, thandai, rose sharbat. i thought its tough to create but now i know the procedure...
Now holi is round the corner so i thought of preparing Instant Thandai mix that also for diet conscious people.
Ingredients required:
Method:
Firstly grind sauf and 2 tbs of sugar substitute into fine consistency, keep it aside and then mix rest of the ingredients together and grind it into fine powder. Mix both the mixture and store in a jar in fridge.
While making thandai as in a cup shown below add 2 tbs of thandai mix and and keep it in fridge for 2 hours before serving.

- 4 tbs of Sauf/ mouri/Fennel
- 1/3 cup almond and pista cut into pieces
- 4 Tbs of melon seeds
- 2 Tbs khus khus (Poppy seed)
- 12 to 14 black pepper
- 1/3 cup sugar substitute
- 5-6 cardamom crushed
- 8-9 strands of saffron
