As i have always stated we bongs just love our eggs like the parsi's. So i dont know who started making it. its a classic nargisi kofta twist in which the minced meat is replaced by bongs love for potatoes. Here in you will require the following ingredients to be added
In a pan in medium to low add oil, let it heat and then add ginger garlic paste and let is sizzle till its raw smell is gone and then add the dry masalas , mix it for 1 min and then add the mashed potatoes, mix it well and then add salt according to your taste. keep it aside and let it cool.
Note : If you think the mashed potatoes are not binding then add breadcrum and also optional use coriander leafs with the mix.
Last Steps: Take the half eggs, coat from all side with potatoes mash, dip in beaten egg mix and then bread crum mix, repeat the process once more before deep frying them at low to medium heat. Serve it with our favorite dip Tomato ketchup.
- 2 Boiled egg, cut into half
- 4 medium sized potatoes boiled and mashed
- 1 tsp each ginger n garlic
- 1 tsp jeera powder/kashmiri chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt according to taste
- 1 Beaten egg
- Bread crum for coating
- Vegetable oil -1 tsp for preparing mash and rest for deep fry
