Baked Gujiya sugarfree........
I love mawa gujiya but this time i was too lazy to get it from dairy so the alternate was coconut..like a typical konkani or malwani, or a south indian i have coconut in my pantry mostly the desiccated or wet form. Toh i though lets cook Gujiya.....
We need the following ingredients for filling they include:
For the outer layer:

In a pan add 1tsp of desi ghee, heat it in low to medium heat add grated coconut roast it for 2-3 mins till it turns slightly brown, add chopped dates, sugarfree mix it well for another 2 mins and then add cream and lastly cardomom powder and let it sim for another 2 mins and take it out of fire and allow to cool and then add chopped dry fruits and mix well
Final step:
Take a Gujiya maker, put the rolled out roti and in the center add the filling and press the maker and the gujiya comes out, brush little ghee both the sides, meanwhile pre heat the airfryer at 160*c for 10 mins and then bake the gujiya's at 160*c for 30 mins, 15 mins each side and then allow it to cool.

- 3/4 cup wet coconut grated
- 4 -5 Tsp of sugar substitute
- 1 tsp ghee
- 4-5 seedless dates (cut into very small pieces)
- Dry fruits (4-5 pieces of hazelnut, almond and pistachio all cut into small pieces and roasted and kishmish added)
- 1/4 cup milk cream (amul cream)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

- 1/4 of desi ghee
- Add water qs to make a medium soft dough and set is aside for 15 mins, put a cloth over it and then roll out small circles of maida flour

Note: Please do not roll the small roti's in advance as they tend to dry and its a simultaneous process
